J&K Terror Attack: One terrorist caught alive and the other one killed

One of the two terrorists was caught alive who attacked the BSF convoy at Jammu-Kashmir National Highway in which two soldiers were killed and 11 others were injured on Wednesday.

The other terrorist was killed in the firing by the BSF.

The terrorists captured three persons in school in a village, were freed after an operation was launched by Army, the police.

This attack by the terrorists was the first in Udhampur district over a decade a few days after the terrorists attacked at Dinanagar police station in Punjab.

Two BSF jawans were killed 11 personnels were killed, IG BSF, Rakesh Kumar said.

The injured jawans have been taken to the hospital. Launching a massive combing operations by the amry, police in and around the area has been cordoned off.

Talking about the attack by the terrorists, Union Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said, those who are behind such attacks very well know that their Terror design won't be running for long in India. That is why they are doing such kind of activities.

"Government and the security forces are doing their best to tackle such kind of acts and without any doubt country's respect, honour and the security of the people is government's topmost priority," he further added.
