Champions League Final: Real Madrid defeated Atletico de Madrid In Penalty Shootout (Video Goal Highlights)

Real Madrid has defeated Atletico de Madrid in the Champions league finals 2016 to lift their 11th title.

The UEFA Champions League Final was decided by a Penalty Kicks.

Real Madrid and Atletico de Madrid entered extra time level at one goal apiece and niether of the team could score a goal in the extra time of 30 minutes.




Atletico substitute Yannick Carrasco scored a 79th minute equalizer to put Diego Simeone's side level with Real Madrid in Milan.

Carrasco's goal followed Sergio Ramos's goal in the first half for Madrid.

Ramos who scored a critical equalizer late in Real  Madrid's 2014 Champions final victory over Atletico, tapped the ball pass the Atletico goalkeeper Jan Oblak  following a Toni Kroos free kick.

The goal was assisted by Gareth Bale, who headed on Kroos's free kick.

The goal is Ramos first in the Champions League since 2014.

In the ssecond half, Real Madrid was awarded a penalty after the Refree Pepe fouled Fernando Torres in the box. But Antoine Griezmann's attempt smashed against the crossbar.
