Switzerland top the list of word happiness report while India at 117th spot

The Word Happiness Report has been released on 23-April-2015 by Sustainable Development Solution Network (SDSN) under the United Nation.

Switzerland has been named as the happiest country in the world,it tops the list with number 1 spot.

The other countries followed by Switzerland are Iceland, Denmark, Norway and Canada.

While India was at 117th spot out of 158 countries below the nations like Pakistan(81),Bangladesh (109),Ukraine (111) and Iraq(112).

Syria and Sub urban countries of Africa:Tango,Burundi,Benin,Rwanda were least happy countries according to the report.

India's rank has been dropped to six spots as India was on 111 spot according to the report in the year 2013.

The USA is at 15th spot followed by UK(21),Singapore (24),Japan(46),China(84).

The ranking is based on the data from the Gallup Poll and it takes into account factors like GDP per capita,curroption level,freedom to make choices in life,social support.
