Warne, Ponting stars in Warriors win in first T20 of All Star Series

In the first T20 match of the three-match All Stars Series Warne's Warriors started off with a six wicket win over Sachin's Blasters  at the City Field Stadium in New York on Sunday.

Blasters were asked to bat first, got a magnificent start as both the openers Sehwag(55) and Tendulkar(26) added 85 runs for the opening partnership.

However Shane Warne, puts the break on by picking up the wickets of Tendulkar(26), Lara(1), VVS Laxman(8) as Blasters finished at 140-8.

Chasing a modest total of 141, Ricky Pointing saw the Warriors through with a 37 balls 48 not out.

Jonty Rhodes finished the game with a six off Tendulkar as Warriors won the match with 16 balls to spare.
