India thrashes Bangladesh in Asia Cup T20 finals by 8 wickets in a rain interrupted match to win their 6th Asia Cup title.

Indian opener Rohit Sharma (1) was out in the second over but Shikhar Dhawan and Virat Kohli made a decent partnership of 94 runs for second wicket to take India close to the target but just then Shikar Dhawan(60 off 44) was caught by Sarkar off Taskin.

Virat Kohli(41* off 28) also played a brilliant innings to chase the target along with Shikhar Dhawan.

After the wicket of Dhawan, captain M.S.Dhoni came to the crease and scored a quick 20 off 6 deliveries and finish off the match with a six.

Earlier in the match, the match was started late because of the rain and the overs were reduced to 15 overs per side.

Bumrah and Ashwin were again the stars of the match as they bowled brilliantly but the other bowlers were a bit expensive.

The bowlers restricted Bangladesh for 120 for the loss of 5 wickets. Ashwin(03-14-1) and Bumrah(03-13-1) both bowled a brilliant spells of bowling.
