ISRO successfully launches India's sixth navigation satellite IRNSS-1F






India Space Research Organization(ISRO), has successfully launched Polar Satellite Launch Vehicke(PSLV)- C32, India's sixth Navigation Satellite IRSS-1F from Satish Dhawan Spaace Centre at Sri Harikota.

The Satellite was launched t 4.00 PM, s per the scheduled time, with the separation took place at 4.06 P.M.

Arround 20 minutes after the after the launch, PSLV-c32 successfully placed IRSS-1F in orbit. The satellite has been placed in the orbit safely, mission director Jayakumar B said.

With the launch India has moved one step closer to joining select group of nations, having its own satellite navigation system.

The regional navigation will provide accurate positional information to users in India and upto an area of 15,00 km.
