Teenage star Marcus Rashford struck again as Manchester United turned up the heat against their mighty rivals Manchester City with 1-0 win a keenly contested derby at the Etihad Stadium.

Rahford, who burst onto the scenes with four goals in two games last month, delivered for United and under fire manager louis van Gaal again to boost the Red Devils' Champions League hopes.

Rashford might have added the panelty in the 16th minute as he ran the error prone Martin ragged and City again cracked under pressure in their own apparently droom Premier League title bid.

Fourth point City who was just ahead of United and West Ham, did rally into the second half but Aguero missed hatful of chances to claim a point. Injuries have robbed them to centre - backs Vincent Kompany and Nicolas Otamendi and their absence proved them very costly.

The headlines was Rashford, 18 years old who became the youngest scores in the Premier League Manchester derby.

With Rashford, Anthony Martial, Jesse Lingard in the attack, united clearly fancied their chances against City's backup central defensive pairing and home fans fair were soon realised.
