Chennai Super Kings enters the final of ipl8 by defeating Royal Challengers Bangalore by 3 wickets

Chennai Super Kings have defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore in a nail biting finish by 3 wickets to reach the finals of IPL8.

This is the record sixth time that CSK is going to play the finals of the IPL.

The opening batsman Mike Hussy played a brilliant innings of 56 from 46 balls that guided CSK to a win.Captain MS Dohni aslo played a fine innings of 26 from 29 balls.

Earlier,the left arm pacer Ashish Nehra continued his impressive bowling as he took 3 wickets for just 28 runs and helped CSK to restrict RCB to just 139 runs.He was also well supported by Ashwin,Dwayne Bravo,Mohit Sharma as they took 1-1 wicket each.

Ashish Nehra also got Man of the match for his impressive bowling performance.

From RCB, Chris Gayle scored an innings of 41 from 43 balls which is certainly not expected from Gayle.

Dinesh Kartik(28 off 26) also scored some good runs but he got out in the search of quick runs.

Also young Sarfaraz Khan(31 off 21) scored some quick runs in the end to get his team to a comparative total.

During CSK innings,Dwayne Smith scored 17 off 11 balls and was looking good but just when he was looking to score quick he was out of the first ball of the fourth over by Starc off S Arvind.

RCB might have got another wicket in the very next delivery but Gayle dropped the catch of duPlessis at the first slip.

Dinesh Kartik also dropped chance of Hussy on Wiese's bowl in the seventh over of CSK innings.

Ground fielding of RCB was not up to the mark as the dropped many chances,run outs.But their bowlers did a very fine job to maintain good line and length.
