Zimbabwe captain Chigumbura suspended for slow over rate

Zimbabwe captain Elton Chigumbura has been suspended for two ODI's for slow over rate during the first one-day against Pakistan in Lahore.

He will now miss the final teo ODI matches against Pakistan at Lahore.

Zimbabwe were three overs short in the total allowance time taken into consideration. ICC match refree Roshan Manmohan gavr Chigumbura two suspension points.

ICC has also fined players of the team 40 percent of their match fee for thd same cause.

If Chigumbura is found guilty of the slow over rate in next 12 months, the he will be given the suspension between two to eight match suspension points.

Chigumbura pleaded guilty to the charge and the penalties were accepted by hin without any need of hearing.
