Indian Cricketer Virat Kohli is named as the 6th marketable athlete by British magazine

British sports business magazine "SportsPro" has named famous Indian cricketer Virat Kohli as the sixth most marketable athlete in the world this year and is ahead of world famous soccer players Cristiano Ronald and Lionel Messi.

The SportsPro magazine which releases his report related to the business aspects of sports has placed Virat Kohli at 6th position. He is placed  just before the Formula One world champion Lewis Hamilton.

Also the famous Indian shuttler Saina Nehwal is placed at the 44th position.

While 21 years old Canadian tennis player Eugenie Bouchard placed at the top position in the list of 50 athletes in the magazine which was released on Thursday.

Worlds No1 tennis player Novak Djokovic is at 14th position while Cristiano Ronldo and Lionel Messi are at 16th and 22nd position respectively.

Steven Smith is the another cricketer which has got 45th spot.Other than Smith and Kohli no other cricketer has got place in the magazine.

The athletes around the world have been ranked according to criteria which includes age, home market, willingness to be marketed, crossover appeal, charisma and following several weaks of analysis by SportsPro team and the external industry, the magazine said.
