Microsoft revealed: Windows 10 to be their last OS

Windows maker company Microsoft revealed that Windows 10 will be their last Operating System. So there will be no Windows 11.

The Operating System is expected to be released in the market this summer for the PC users.

A Microsoft employee and developer, Jerry Nixon at the Ignite conference 2015 in Chicago said that "Windows 10 will be their last operating system."

"We are still working on Windows 10 because it is our last operating system to be released" , he said at the conference.

He furthur added that Microsoft had been working on the
base of Windows 10 even though last year when they released its Windows 8.1.

However the company will continue with the updates and the improvements to the existing windows and softwares.For eg the Start Menu , the app which are built in the Windows will  be updated independently, he said.

"Windows will be delivered as a service bringing new innovations and updates in an ongoing manner, with continuous
value for our consumer and business customers,"  said by a Microsoft spokesman who conformed the statement of Nixon when he was  approached by The Verge.

“We aren’t speaking to future branding at this time, but customers can be confident Windows 10 will remain up-to-date and power a variety of
devices from PCs to phones to Surface Hub to HoloLens and Xbox. We look forward to a long
future of Windows innovations. ”

It is expected that while Microsoft 10 is expected to be launched in summer this year then OS wll also be launched for mobiles, tablets, HoloLens, the Xbox at sometime late this year.
