Hight Court suspended Salman Khan's sentence in the Hit and Run Case

The Bombay High Court has suspended the sentence of Bollywood Superstar Salman Khan for which he had appealed earlier in conviction in a hit and run case.

Salman Khan,one of the famous celebrities of Bollywood,was sentenced for five years odf prisn on Wednesday when his drunkly drove over the five homeless people that were sleeping on a Mumbai payment,killing one and four others were injured.

Previously, he was out on bail for two days and was expected to be taken into custody on Friday.

Now,the high court has allowed him that he will not be taken into the custody until this next hearing,that will be held in July,said the prosecutor Pradeep Gharat.

But he will not be allowed to leave the country during taking the permission of the court.

The Session Court took 13 long years to announce its decision in the favour of the victims and the High Court suspended the sentence of the actor within hours.

While hearing the appeal of the actor, the Justice Abhay Thipsay said that it will be proper so as to suspend the sentence of the actor  during haring of the convict's appeal.

The crowd that was standing outside the court became very happy after the news was spread.

If he would be sentenced, the his absence could affect the Bollywood and will cost them more than $31 million.

Hit and Run Case

The incident of  Hit and Run Case took place in September 2002,outside a Bakery in Mumbai.

Salman Kahan ran over five homeless people that were sleeping on a payment in Mumbai,after loosing his contor over his car, while he was returning from a bar.

One of the victims wa killed and other 4 were injured.
