Earthquake hits in China of 6.5 magnitude on Friday, six died

A 6.5 magnitude of earthquake on the rechter scale hits in the western region of Xinjiang in China, killed six people and damaging thousands of buildings and many of the buildings were collapsed.

The earthquake hit about 9:00 a.m, Friday in Pishan county in the Hotan region of Xinjiang at the depth of about 10 kilometers, the China Earthquake Networks Center said.

Six people have been died and around 3,000 houses and other buildings or other were damaged according to Xinjiang's Bureau of Civil Affairs.
