Gurdaspur terror attack ended, all the three terrorists killed

A 12 hour long terror attack in Dinanagar near District  Gurdaspur ended with all the three terrorist killed in the operation by the security forces.

The terrorists went on a rampage at around 5 a.m were holed up in a vacant building adjacent to the police station in Dinanagar.

4-5 bomds were also spotted on the Amritsar-Pathankot railway track and were recovered rear Gurdaspur.

Around 7 people have been killed by the terrorists in which 4 of then were police officers including S.P Baljit Singh.

Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh said India wants to have cordial relationship with Pakistan but will be benefiting national pride if challenged.

"I can not understand why time and again cross border incidents of terror are taking place when we are having a good relationship with our neighbours," he added.

"I want to tell our neighbour that we want to make peace but not at the cost of our nations pride," he said.

Rajnath Singh will give his statement tomorrow in Parliament.

A high level meeting will be held around 6 p.m on Terrorist attacks in Gurdaspur.

"We didn't realise when they came and started firing. They were wearing army uniforms," a policeman said, who was injured during the firing.
