Barcelona defeated Juventus by 3-1 to clinch their 5th UEFA Champions League title

Barcelona defeated Juventus by 3-1 in the thrilling finalUEFA Champions League  to clinch their fifth title at Olympics Stadium on Saturday.

This is Barcelona's fourth European title in the last decade after their 2006, 2009, 2011 triumphs.

From Barcelona, the goals were made by Coratian Ivan Rakitic in the fourth minute, Uruguay's Luis Suarez in 68th minute, Brazilian Neymar with his goal in the extra time sealed the victory for Barcelona.

"It's incredible, a something unique" says Barcelona's Luis Suarez.

To win these competitions you have to suffer. I think after the equaliser they pushed a little more but we have the players who made the difference ," he added.

Juventus has now became the only team in the history to get beaten 6 times in the finals and has now lost their last four.

"I would like to thank the team for a wonderful season that we had," said Juventus coach Massimilano Allegri.

"We played a great game tonight but when you play against great players you think you have things under your control but then they get you," he added.

Barcelona  has not won three major titles in which European Cup is latest followed by Kings cup and La liga.
