Maggi noodles are safe says Nastle CEO Paul Bulcke

The maggi noodles are safe said the Nestle CEO Paul Bulcke while addressing media.

"The product maggi noodles are safe  for consumption" he told to the media.

Addressing the media, he said "the company has applied the same quality standards around the world and in India too. Our test have found the Maggi is absolutely safe."

"I am here because the trust of the customers have been shaken that's why we took the product off shelves," he said.

"Our test has found that there is no lead in our product. So we are trying yo engag the authorities regarding our test methods," he added.

Earlier, Delhi along with four Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttrakhand has banned the sale of Maggi noodles after a high volume of monosodium glutamate (MSG) and lead was found in maggi.

Tamil Nadu and Uttrakhand government has banned maggi noodles for three months while the Gujarat and Jammu and Kashmir government has banned the maggi for the one month.

Gujarat government has also banned the instant noodles of sunfeast and SK foods after testing their samples for one month.

In Delhi, the ban will be effective for 15 days.
